- Furnace Youth Project: Meets Tuesday evenings 7.00m - 8.00pm. Outdoors at the Football Field and indoors in the Hall in Winter and i bad weather. Contact Eileen McColl (01499 500223).
- The Furnace Dramblers: Meets by arrangement. Adventurous. Dedicated to walking and the after-dram. Have their own shirts and logo - you have to see it! How do you contact them. The Furnace Inn, where else?
