Friends of the Furnace
Friends of the Furnace exists to raise awareness of the Old Iron Furnace that gave today’s Argyll village its name. The group’s successes to date include attracting Lottery funding to pay for Strathclyde University’s Cadispa team to conduct an audit of the Village. It has also had the old Charcoal Store which supplied the Furnace made a listed building.
